Dear friends

I am a student and i have got a university project to make a multiplayer 3D game in VRML / X3D. Following are the things that are to be done.

I want a 3D character for each player ... the player can change the whole look and feel of his charcter like make him tall, fat, male, female, change his cloths give them colors change hair style and lots of similar stuff.

I want a design a small city in which the characters can move can fight with each other.

User can select from multiple cities to start and the users logged in to that city should be visible to him.

The character can select his building and can change its color.

The character can select and can change color and parts of his car like can change the tyres, seats dashboard etc.

Please tell me is it possible to do all this in X3D or VRML ???

I need help urgently so reply soon

Regards

Zeeshan

I think you actually questionned this on more than one website!!!

This not a problem with a fileformat, but with which programming language are you gonna program, you will just have to make evry part a single model(with diffrent textures) and atach them to the car, etc..

That all could certainly be done with the VRML/X3D standards. What engine are you going to use to render the 3D representations from those standards? Are you building one from scratch or using something like Flux?
