The only German I learned was "Ich haber eine grosse wurscht", and that's not usuable in most social situations. :)

I actually took 4 years of German in high school, but I must admit I did have to Babelfish "forum rules" and "more considerate". Also, I watched the "Big Red One" the other day and have been wanting to call someone a pig-dog ever since. ;)
I love how Germans make new words by stringing together other words into absurdly large constructs. Maybe its just me, but I find a word like the award winning Rindfleischetikettierungsüberwachungsaufgabenübertragungsgesetz impressive. I think it has something to do with beef... I'll have to see what Babelfish can do with that one!

I figured out what it means. It was a law passed regulating beef imports from the UK because of mad cow disease. In English, Rindfleischetikettierungsüberwachungsaufgabenübertragungsgesetz is roughly translated to:
