Hi y'all...
Does anyone know of a good program that can log the changes made when a program is installed (including changes to the registry)?
Microsoft has one on their website but it's not working right for me (failed 122 or some such error). I've looked at possible uninstallers to try but none that I've seen specifically state that it will let me look at the changes made by an installation, only that they can unistall it.
Got any suggestions?
Install Logger

I haven't looked at installers lately, but a good free one is InnoSetup. It's windows only, however.

"Regsnap" make two snap shots of registry and some system folders one before the changes and one after them, and then compare them and report you with the changes made.
and if you want to monitor registry access in real-time use "Regmon" from sysinternals.com also there is "Filemon" to monitor files access.
thanks

I found ZSoft uninstaller which fits the bill. Thanks!
