hello,
i've got some problem regarding the rendering of a scene .
i've gone thru following steps.
1. created a scene in 3ds max and exported it as .3ds file.
2. using conv3ds.exe utility supplied by the DIRECTX 8 SDK ,i've converted
this .3ds file into .x file.
3. using optimized mesh example supplied by DIRECTX 8 SDK i've rendered the .x file but the output is not the desired scene.why ????

Could you include more information on what you are trying to achieve. Did you modify the sdk example code ? People might not be familiar with the specific sdk example you are speaking of. Try to explain what it does, how it works, etc. What measures did you take to find the error yourself ?
How is it not working ? Is the model loading at all ? Are parts of the model missing ? Distorted textures ?
