My current mouse is starting to give up.

Now I'm searching for a quiet one.
It is hard to find a mouse without clicking buttons :-(
Mouses with nonclicking mousewheels is possible to find (microsoft, a4 tech)

Does any one in here have any recomendations of one to buy?

I'd advise you to buy an optical one. You'll never need to clean your mouse ball again. It's awsome. And I don't think I've heard of non-clicky sound making mice.

Heh.. The only mouse I know of that doesn't click is a touchpad, and those drive me nuts. :)

Good luck.

Well, if your mouse has a clicking mousewheel, it's easy enough to disassemble it and remove one of the springs that produces the clicking effect. Then the mousewheel still works, but it rotates continuously. I was never really bothered by the sound that's made when you click but maybe you can go to an electronics store and try out various models (they usually have things like this on a display shelf or suchlike).
