I apologize for my rotten jokes, I assumed this forum was populated with a bunch of twits like GameDev seems to be these days. You know, these arrogant idiots who learned the basics of C++ and somehow think it makes them an expert. I missed the old Flipcode days quite alot.

I plan to kick back some contributions, like an article on real-time raytracing I've been working on. I am glad there is still some decent people left online into coding for the sake of coding.

Happy Holidays and peace out.

Apology accepted. I'll agree with you that gamedev.net is horrible now a days. Hopefully this site would someday evolve into a worthy alternative.

Well, there are plenty of people there who just mooch off of the true developers, asking for answers, not taking the time to investigate things for themselves. There are also people who aren't interested in programming period, they are just looking for people to chat with. Not only does this make the forums an unplesent place, but it has also caused the moderators to become very strict; little things can go a long way to damage you.

Alas, that's the fate of almost every large-scale forum.
