Ok well I made pong before and im learning 3d graphics. So me and a few other programmers decided it would be cool to make an MMORPG. We decided to add some stragety to make it stand out from all the other games in that genre. We are just entering the programming stages. Its called Nightcrest it will hopefully be fully 3d. For more info site at www.madgamedesign.com. Right now we are running game servers to get our name/site popular ;)

PS I not really asking for help just to annouce that im making one but if you want pm me if your intrested.

PS2 Pls dont laugh

Wow, fairly ambitious project. Good luck to you, you aren't the first to try to make an indie MMORPG/RTS. Good luck again, because you sure as hell will need it.

This has nothing to do with your post, but I found it amusing that your website, madgamedesign, has the same initials as Miller Genuine Draft :)

Damn, I'm going to have to cut out of work early on this fine Friday and grab a few beers. :) Good luck on the game and I like the website name too!

Your first 3D game...is an MMORPG?!?!?

:skull:
I am a pixel artist, and am currently available for small-to-medium sized jobs (I am also a student, so I am only able to pixel part-time). If I can help you with a game, PM me or reach me by e-mail so we can discuss any projects you have in mind.

I am also an MIDI composer, and am also available for work in that area. If I can help you with a project, PM me or reach me by e-mail so we can discuss any projects you have in mind.

Then game will likely get back to (!M)MORPG by themselves soon. :-)
I mean, if there are loads of MMORPG, then the number of players per game should decrease (unless the number of player suddently increases too). :->
