again, there isn't an option that applies to me. I'm entering, but I'm not nearly finished yet. I still have a while to go.

However, an update you might be interested in is that I hope to have one of my effects as fractal trees.

Whaa! "me" applies to you. The questions said "Who is almost finished with the contest?" since you said "I'm entering, but I'm not nearly finished yet." therefore, "me" applies to you :) ....

I'm finally finished implimenting my stack control system. That is to say, the way I control the objects and camera of the demo is via the method I have deemed "Stack control".

I'm now realzing I could implimented it better probably, but this will do for now.

Im at the point now where I'm looking for decent music, and "writing" the "storyline" of the demo.........

me doesn't apply to me :). I am not almost finished with the contest. I have a long way to go, so I can't say that I am almost finished with the contest because that would be a lie :).

however, thanks to anubis, I am now past a major problem I was having.

In case you're wondering, I was doing depth sorting. When comparing two points I was trying to translate the origin by the current matrix and compare the points as they are with it. Anubis pointed out that I could just translate the points, and compare z values. Same thing, in reverse. I'd been too stupid to see it :D. Anyways, back to the coding!
