Screen Resolution calculus

Someone can answer how can I find the calculus that the windows make to adjust the screen resolution?
Can be a link to a tutorial or something like this.

I am not sure what you mean. The screen resolution is simply the width and height in pixels, for instance 640x480 or 1024x768. Adjusting the screen resolution simply changes a setting on the video card and doesn't involve math. Can you be more specific as to what you are looking for?
