Team name: Blue Ember Productions
Project name: Rising Ember

Brief description:
Introduction
Rising Ember is a 3d mmorpg game which is being developed by Blue Ember Productions. The game will feature many people being able to interact online by working together as well as fighting enemies. The project is a very big one so we will need all the help we can get as we all understand that a mmorpg or orpg is a big thing to carry out but with the help from others it will make our project possible.

The team is structures from people who are doing it for the fun of computing and the experience of making their own mmorpg game. Every team member is volunteering their time just to get the project done some people it will help towards their portfolio's for university while others just do it for fun

Although the team is compromised of people who are volunteering their time this doesnt mean that there wont be a future for blue ember productions if we get this game well under way and it is a hit then we will try and make the company as big as we possibly can and the team members will gain profit from possible pay to play features.

Our targets:
We are hoping to get the game fully running and get rid of any bugs that arise. We then wish to build up a good community and bring in pay to play features. The pay to play will pay for the server as well as allowing the team to get their fair share.

Compensation:
Well if this game gets going which i determined to make it go the pay to play feature will pay for the server and allow team members to profit too. But while under development we cannot afford to pay people sorry

Technology:
We will be using the open source version of realm crafter engine we will modify a lot to suit the game

Talent needed:
3d artists - who can model and hopefully animate and texture too
sound artists - who can do ambient sounds or sfx
concept artists - we will need a lot of concept art

Additional Info:

Genre
Well the genre of the game is actually like a medieval game as a lot of the time you will have to use very basic weaponry but the reason for this is that your character and others have just survived a nuclear war and humanity has to rebuild. The character will come across mutated beings and animals that have turned as well as trying to protect yourself from others like you. You get a profession and work your way up in the world to get in the biggest groups(clans) and to own the best accommodation.

Plot
The plot of the game is that there was a big war between two sides the Atlanteans (muscle and technology) and the Psydons (mind). The atlanteans fired nukes at the psydons while the psydons retaliated with their combined power of mind and launched the oceans back at them. There was an almighty clash and for the next 30 years there was a nuclear fallout.
You survive in a shelter but with nothing but very basic weaponry and not much strength. You choose if you are the side of the mind or technology and begin to rebuild your life.
Each side of the world(big map) both sides are trying to rebuild their lives they have to work together to collect resources for their towns and the quicker they collect resources like wood and stone etc the quicker the town will build allowing them to get accommodation, food, weapons etc etc.
To start with both sides are neutral but will their differences mean conflict? You decide! will mankind do what is in their nature to fight or will they get along and live a happy ending? Very unlikely!

Completion
The game engine is finished now we need to get more content done as the story is about finished and quests well on the way.

Feedback:
We would like people to be nice to our post :-) and most of all want to join our team

even if you dont feel you are skilled at many things i will still urge you to come forward as everyone will be able to help as we need to get the project finished as quick as is possible. So if you think you are a beginner modeler then come forward and ill assign you simple assignments like making a small item or small monster.
Thanks
Ryan

I thought it would let the shy people with talent come forward it has worked before because some people dont feel they are good enough until they actually give it a go. One of my concept artists wasnt too keen and putting his work down but it turned out he is really good .
So i am urging as many people to come forward as possible what is the worst that can happen. I will then pick the people i will need the most and get going with finishing this project
