Hello all, my names toki, and i'm recruiting for a new game project called Archives of Ananduin. Currently we're in need of a handful of hard working people who are willing to consistently contribute to the project. Were in need of almost everything, from concept artists, to 3d modelers. Below i'll list out a few positions we need filled and a few things you require. You can visit our forum (http://archivesoa.6....r.com/index.php) and post there on whether or not you'd like to be a part of the team or just wish to take a look around and comment on the systems we have planned. We also have a small temporary website (http://archivesoa.bravehost.com/) that simply hosts some of the system information.
Concept Artist
I'm not looking for a lot here, but a few piecies of art (whether they be photo realistic, or not) that our modelers can use as reference. We'd like all concept art in the T formation refernce pictures are commonly drawn in, and you have the liberty to create any other type art work you may want if intrest strikes.
3D Modeler
3D Modelers can be expirienced in any type of 3D modeling software, preferably 3D Max, but any other type of software is acceptable, as long as it exports to the file formats .X or.b3D.
2D Artist
2D artwork is tedious work, and for this were looking for as many as we can get.
We have a small team of designers, and a small fan base but were always looking for more. I deal with most social relations and when realmcrafter (the engine we're using) is released i'll be creating the actual world. We also have a mapper I know personally, and a 3D Modeler, expirienced in multpile programs. Basicly the game is a pre-columbian/fantasy style MMORPG, with sea-faring pirate style game play. The main goal of the team is to introduce all who wish to participate into the world of indie game development, and hopefully gain some expirience in the field once the project is complete. The game will feature a never before seen class system, that can make extreamly diverse characters, including an epic character style system where players can vote on who they want their faction to have as their "champions" or Epic Characters. Along with a multitude of other things like Faction vs Faction quests, sea battles that will pit races from each faction against each other in their own guilds Battle Ship. We plan on having 12 playable races, within 3 Factions. Guilds will be able to own, Ships (1 per guild), Castles, and even cities, and will be able to duke it out in Guild vs Guild Combat, based on the level of the guild.
Along with other things like class specific mounts, an altered wow style trade skill, and crafting system, and other goodies we don't have on the site we really think you'll enjoy.
