Ermm, first off, waiting 24 hours before bumping is polite, while bumping after 3 is annoying.
Onwards, details please, no one will join a project that they know nothing about (unless you are paying, that's a different story). And the word MMORPG (is that a word??) is disliked greatly in these forums and will quickly get you flamed (not to mentio prevent 90% of the users from even viewing your topic).
Peace

It is an acronym. Therefore a word of sorts. Your words stand true.

strictly taken is MMORPG not a real acronym, unless you have a really flexible tongue :) (for example modem, radar, laser are, html not)

It's still an acronym, only PHBs and marketing types want it to come out pronoucible and hopefully also a recognizable word.
And to clarify, it isn't that people here hate MMORPG, its just that in these times every non game programmer who has played EQ or WOW thinks they'd like to make some changes and so they will code up their own game from scratch. Sorry but even for seasoned veteran game programmers, making your own MMORPG is a next to impossible task. I have only known of one team to actually make one, and they had professionals on board, and even then the game really is very poor. They simply didn't have the enormous resources needed.
If you want to make your first game, try a clone of tetris, or remake pacman. These will be sufficiently hard if not too hard.

NomadRock: Are you speaking of Eternal Lands? I quite liked it, it wasn't poor. If you aren't talking about Eternal Lands, I apolagize.
