Is it possible to pack more information into the forums RSS feed ? It reports new posts but for example not their text but only a link. Since I'm using my feed reader most of the time to respond to threads it would be nice to have the post's contents as well.

The good news is that these forums have built-in XML and RSS support:
XML: www.devmaster.net/forums/external.php?type=xml (basic info)
RSS: www.devmaster.net/forums/external.php?type=rss (a bit more info)
RSS 2.0: www.devmaster.net/forums/external.php?type=rss2 (detailed information)
What you're looking for is RSS 2.0
You can also specify exactly which forums you're interested in by adding their cooresponding forum ids:
http://www.devmaster...&forumids=11,29
XML: www.devmaster.net/forums/external.php?type=xml (basic info)
