Hello, i am Liam "RoFFo" Marshall of TsuchI. Let me first introduce TsuchI by its genre. I would call it a MORPFG (Multiplayer Online Role Playing Fighting Game) As far as i am aware Rakion is the only game classed as this genre to date.
|Game description|
Basically what TsuchI will be is a 2D online fighting game. Your character will have the ability to level up after successfully killing a certain number of players. The required number of kills will go up each level just like any MMORPG does with exp. You will also gain money for each kill which you can spend on buying upgraded clothes which upgrade your armor or buying upgraded skills, spells, and weapons etc. You will also have the ability to change your hairstyle and hair color. There will be four different villages. Players can select the village they wish to live in. It will be possible to fight players from the same village in designated PVP areas and both players have to agree to fight. You will be able to fight with players from another village wherever you are and you are not required to agree to fight. There will be a donation system on the site where people can donate as much money as they wish. This is to help pay for server expenses. And of course any money left over will be gave out to people from the team.
|Current members of the team|
Currently there are three members of the team. Let me first tell you my roles in developing TsuchI. I will be contributing to the game as much as possible. I will be building the whole website which you can view a simple form of at: http://www.tsuchi.tk/ Note that it is still unfinished. I will be upgrading the website to .Com when we have a team for TsuchI and have started building the main engine and art of the game. I will also be the webmaster making sure the website stays up to date with new content and news about the progression of the game. And my final job is as a pixel artist. I will be creating some of the clothing, characters and weapons for the game. I am experienced in all three roles i have mentioned. Fraser "3xtract" Smith will be doing concept art for TsuchI and possibly some pixel art. He is a great artist and some of his work will be up on the site in the near future. Rummell "ripperrim" Virgo will be doing some misc pixel art such as weapons and food.

I have a gut instinct that this game, if it takes off, will be one of those highly addictive and popular MMOs like Endless Online that just won't die.
I would like to help, but can't really do anything besides music. I can help you in game design and getting the gritty parts done (as well as help come up with a comparativley lag free system, as a ighting game with lag would suck). I am aspiring to get a job as a game designer when I have finished studying, and this project would be good to work on (plus i'm a born again button masher
).
I'll email with some of the stuff i've done and ideas i've already to have.
Peace
