Hello,

This is my first tutorial ever and I'd like to get some feedback from the community.

Pretty good. I've only read through it quickly, but it pretty much covers what I learned when I was playing with SDL. I may even have another look at it, saves me messing around so much with writing my own functions.

the article looks very good. I liked your writing style. How many lessons are you planning on writing?

I also like the idea putting it on the wiki page.

So, i've just read your article and i have a few comments to make and i'll be very honest :) First, SDL tutorials are currently almost everywhere to find but there is something about your style, as nkharrat stated, which makes your article special and unique!!! Plus i find it very informative and easy to read and follow so i definetely want to read the next tutorials of the series!!!

Keep up the good work!

P.S.
if you wouldn't mind, i will soon add a few sub-sections to your article, explaining how to set the basic system with GCC and the Borland compiler cause it's a little tricky (we use the Borland tools in our new tutorial)

Unfortunately school is going to start soon so I won't have any time to write any more informative tutorials such as the first one. Perhaps someone could take the baton and run with it?
