A newbie on the list hello guys! For a while i have been trying to get some comlex models on which i can test few illumination techniques. I will require to convert the model into some local format.

I want triangulated model, with emmitance and reflectance values attached with each triangle. Mostly the model has to be a closed room kind of structure with light sources(NOT point light sources) and all. I have been searching on net for ready-made "scene models" but it looks like they are really expensive :sad: I tried searching this mailing list also in case somthing like this had turned up before.

Can someone give me some pointers on how to easily create such models or some place where i can get these models and the format specifications of the model. Any pointers to some earlier discussion will be also be helpful.
