What's hapnin'

I'm currently working on a MMORPG named after my hip hop group, Project: Make Believe. We're searching for some programmers who might want to help us build an engine. We're currently working on a full soundtrack, along with concept art, and have a Wiki database that gets updated regularly. I'll send you there so that I don't take up space posting the entire synopsis/skill trees/weapons/etc. The game is mostly 2D, probably 16-bit, somewhat like Ragnarok. If you can help us, or know anyone that can, please e-mail me at FanMan@gmail.com or contact me via aim at EonSayeth.

Thanks
EonOne

P.S. To prove to you that progress is being made on the game... I've been in living the recording studio for a week with the group, working on the soundtrack.

P.S.S. I read the MMORPG primer you already have posted on the site... trust me, I realize how difficult a game like this can be already ;)

I have experience with concept on other projects such as small Source engine projects. This is the first time I've tried to start something from scratch.

Also, it seems as though someone has gone and deleted our entire wiki, so if you would like more information, and possibly two music tracks which will be on the net shortly, please let me know.

I believe, this is what you are looking for:

Wikipedia logs all changes, so you can access old versions =)

Have you tried doing this the other way around? See a project under development that you really like, and offer to make the soundtrack. This would be much easier than the other way around, trust me ^^

Reading that, why not do something different - especially if it's such a large investment of resources? Forgo standard weapons and statistics, post-apoc theme and Xmen style super-powers and make something small and cool

Well, the major difference with our game which I forgot to mention is that there is never going to be a class selection. We find things like that only lead to regret. You're always able to become bigger, better, stronger, by going in a chain system of skills. Once you aquire one basic skill, you can build off of that until you have developed a full power chain, and if you're halfway through that one, and decide you want to be something else... feel free to pick up another chain. Though it does sound like the x-men, we'd like to steer away from that image as much as possible, along with the post-apoc theme. The world you enter into is completely developed with large buildings and factories, and the technology has stayed up to date.

Also, here are the two tracks I was talking about. Please let me know what you think!
