Hi,

I'm searching for a download to the DirectX8 SDK.

I'm planning on working on a simple engine in VB (for learning purpose) but on microsoft.com, you can only find Directx9 SDK.

Anyone know of a mirror or has the installer???

You can still use DirectX 8 with the DirectX 9 SDK. The SDK comes with the directx 8 headers.

But will that work with VB 6 ?? Cause I've heard that you can't work with DX9 in VB6 ..... but is it only the DX9 files (so you CAN use the DX8 files) or CAN'T you work with DX9 sdk in VB6 ???
