Unnamed, as of this posting. For now, we’re just referring to it as Project “M”.


Brief Description:
Project “M” has been in R&D for 3 months. The original idea was to bring a simple application to market to provide the funding needed for our other projects in development (3 games, 2 are a series). That, and we think this would be a fun project to undertake and build teamwork with. Based on extensive research, we have found that there is market demand for this product, that development time would be minimal, and a very small team can easily produce the program, plus supporting expansions and add-ons.
I apologize for not going into more detail, but the details of the project are considered a Trade Secret.


Target Aim:
Retail. A competitive price structure based on similar applications is in place.
Target markets include educational institutions, home users, private tutors, hobbyists, and amateurs of all age groups and skill levels.


Compensation:
We fully intend to generously compensate the successful candidate. Exact pay structure is negotiable, and commensurate with the quality and timeliness of work produced. As this will be our first product to market, compensation will be paid upon a show of profit. Kaydelon Interactive, Inc. is in a position to guarantee compensation in writing.


Technology:
Currently developing for the PC. We would like to see support for the Mac and Linux in the future, if the market demands such.


Talent Needed:
We are currently seeking one or more programmers. We have not decided on a specific language at this time, simply because none of us are programmers. Based on my limited knowledge, I am leaning toward C++ for speed and reliability. C# is a serious consideration, to ease in cross-platform support.
Additional experience desired includes coding for MIDI input/output, as well as direct MIDI manipulation within the application. Experience in audio input (via microphone port on sound card) and tone sampling is also a plus.
We are seeking competent programmers who have experience, or recent students and hobbyists who meet the minimum skill sets.
