Im having trouble converting a normalized direction vector into the faces of a skybox... whats the best way to do this?
Its like its spherical, and I need it to be square.

at the moment its cylindrically chopping off the corners, as if they were circles instead of squares.
you used to be able to fit a game on a disk, then you used to be able to fit a game on a cd, then you used to be able to fit a game on a dvd, now you can barely fit one on your harddrive.

ah dont worry i remembered how i fixed it. you have to "squarify normal" the direction, in otherwords make it point to outside a box.
