Hello everyone, I am making a tile based platformer game. I am stuck at the collision detection part. I also want to implement smooth movement, so is there any easy algorithm which I can easily understand? is there any tutorial related to it on these forums?
I have been searching for a tutorial but just can't find any which is easier for me to understand

So you want collision detection and sliding algorithms? Check out some Gamasutra articles here and here. If you want to learn more about intersection tests, you can check out this site. It used to be good, but I think some of the links are so old and the sites no longer exist, but maybe they updated that.
