So, I've got planned a blender environment, it could be anything, but I dont know what I should make, its a bit of an investment of time cause I want to finish it.

What environment would be good to make, and what game would it be for?

Thanks for any ideas. :)
you used to be able to fit a game on a disk, then you used to be able to fit a game on a cd, then you used to be able to fit a game on a dvd, now you can barely fit one on your harddrive.

Do you mean blender environment as in Blender modeler?
That would really depend on your skill level, if so. Buildings and roads are generally easier if you kind of keep them simple. A game like a car racing game would work because you wouldn't get as close or need to go inside. Cars are kind of hard to do, though, unless they are pretty simple.

Cool. I look forward to seeing what you do with it. You have a good imagination if you could just manage some follow through. I like race car games with some pretty wild things thrown in myself, not so much the ultra realistic kind.

I've never actually played Mario Kart. I've played Super Tux Cart, which is a kind of a copy I guess, but it has lots of odd environments. But yeah, that would be good to get a working prototype going.

Yeah, I could get into something like that, also. I just don't like the plain racing games where you just race without power ups, etc. Some of them, you get upgrades after the race, but that's not quite as fun for some reason. I also like ramps and things like that, maybe with after burners to keep it going. I think a plain racing game would be all right, also, if the tracks were interesting enough and the ai was pretty tough. Another thing that makes them more fun is game controllers.
