In the vein of giving back to the community, here is another cool freebie. These are low poly modular street sections and buildings that can be used to populate your own city in Unity. The video demonstrates how to use the pieces and contains the download link for the Unity project source. Enjoy!

Pretty nice. I downloaded it. May be able to use it in the future. Probably expand on it a little.
Currently using Blender and Unity.

wow amazing work there, guru :)
you used to be able to fit a game on a disk, then you used to be able to fit a game on a cd, then you used to be able to fit a game on a dvd, now you can barely fit one on your harddrive.

Talking with me rouncer ??? , i don't consider myself a guru , i am just a creative guy , by the way, still 2 algorithms to do and i am done with this project , next step would be to create a gui around the generator.

Well I think in order to work in your tileset editor/generator the pieces would have to be like tilesets (square). These are 3d models that are designed more for 3d artists to go in and prototype levels by hand. Even if you used 3d models, they would have to be able to basically line up procedurally. I am actually thinking about making a tileset of this, so that square sprites just snap to each other and you can place a ton of road variations and intersections.

Actually the tileset are polygons , inside which i rotate, scale and clip a regular grid of places wher buildings need to be placed, the roads go inside the cells , around the building and connect to the outer perimeter, i see that in your screenshot, buildings are 3d models placed inside the space enclosed by roads, is this made on purpose ?

This is a free tileset of city streets and grass areas to help you lay down a foundation of city roads for any top-down or isometric style project. If you're going to use this for mobile development make sure to atlas all of these 256x256 textures onto a couple of 512x512 textures or maybe a 1024x1024. NGUI, Sprite Manager 2, and several free sprite tools exist for the Unity engine that process texture atlases.

I would also suggest checking out the Modular City Kit video on my Youtube and grabbing the modular buildings. These modular buildings would work awesome placed on top of these tiles.

Download link via Dropbox is in the Youtube video description:
