My github repo: https://github.com/geon/flup
A screenshot of the game so far: http://imgur.com/7GRHO
You drop colored pieces into a grid, where you need to line up matching colors to remove them. A lot like Tetris or Columns.
I am writing it in javascript, with canvas for graphics. It's working out well so far. I used to have some prejudice about js not being suited for games, but the more I got to know it, the more comfortable I liked it (most of the time).
You can actually download it and run the index.html file. Use wasd and arrows for 2p games.

nice concepts!
you used to be able to fit a game on a disk, then you used to be able to fit a game on a cd, then you used to be able to fit a game on a dvd, now you can barely fit one on your harddrive.

The robots will add a lot of interest. I enjoy that type of puzzle game off and on.
Currently using Blender and Unity.
