
It just started off as a little map demo, now I want to turn it into a game.
Ive got collision detection, instancing, a large maximum map size (enough for an mmo), animation isnt implemented yet, so basicly i do the animation, get the dudes running around, give them guns, then i have to write the ai for the npcs.
I was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts or suggestions, what do you think of the screenshot? its about a months work so far. (I have another thread, realtime fire+ice, thats when I started this, about a month ago) but next on the list is running walking animation and getting the dudes to run around like in an fps.
Im using 3d coat for hipoly graphics, i convert to lowpoly normal mapped automatically on import into the engine.
