Hello,

I'm making a new free software to create point n click adventure games. The editor is compatible with Windows only but the runtime will be cross-platform.

You can watch the video and download the current beta version at:
http://age.seccia.com

I will use it for my own game.

Thanks for your comments.

That looks impressive. Have you worked out pathfinding?
I'll be interested in seeing how this project works out. You might also want to post a notice at adventuredevelopers.com and also possibly at adventuregamers.com in their "underground" forum.
Currently using Blender and Unity.

thanks, I posted a new topic.

For the pathfinding, I will use spots defined in Scene Editor. A character have several spots. Each spot has a scale value. When the player clicks on screen, I will find the closest spot from the cursor and I will find the shortest path. The user can receive events when the character reached a spot. It's useful if you want to test a state and stop the character for example.

Spots allows to define positions when the character needs to take away an object, or talk to someone...

But the great feature of the software is the editor interpreter. You can simulate a game and check all states without launching the application. And you can start a new game from any box (when the runtime will be released).

A new version is available (0.2.0.11)... now you can export your game for android!... You don't need SDKs, because AGE uses precompiled apk files. There is also an apk pre-signed for testing your game (just for debug)

Important: AGE uses expansion apk => .apk (50MB max) and .obb (2GB max). So you have to copy the .obb to a specific folder (see readme.txt).
