The Game Architecture & Design program has a 3D Programming, a 3D Art and an At & Technology for Next Generation Entertainment specialisation. The Media & Entertainment Management program has specialisations in Media & Entertainment Marketing and Media & Entertainment Production. A Master program in Media Innovation is being developed now.
All our programs scored first in the national ranking 2009, because of the vocational approach and the quality and experience of the staff. You have the possibility to work on research projects, together with students and working with a selective group of enthusiastic and motivated students.
Job profile
You will develop software for a research project, involving mobile technology and artificial intelligence and will participate in the research team and research meetings. Also you will be writing technical documentation and user manuals.
Candidate profile
You have experience with programming games or in relation to artificial intelligence (for example C++), which is a passion of yours. Also your programming -experience out of leisure is valuable to us! You have a bachelor degree in the field of knowledge (gaming or IT) or a MBO-4 graduation with excellent marks. We are looking for candidates who have just graduated, or who have working experience up to two years. We specifically invite graduates from NHTV International Game Architecture & Design or with the Bachelor of Art and Technology in Game Design and Development (HKU Utrecht) to apply. Apart from this you have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Salary & Benefits
The salary of this position is determined by the career pattern of salary scale 8, as agreed in the Dutch collective labour agreement for employees in higher professional education (CAO-HBO). In full-time employment, the maximum gross monthly salary is EUR 3021.67 excluding 8% holiday allowance and an end of the year bonus of 8,3%. NHTV offers facilities for costs of relocation. Dutch Tax authorities may offer tax reduction to applicants from abroad.
