Generally speaking though, this forum is focused on the programming aspect. I mean one could say we are neglecting the database web programmers because there is more to programming than just game programming, but forums like these tend to be specialized.
That said, it would be great if we could make a partnership with some kind of sister site focused on game modeling. Barring that, it may be a good idea to make a section of the forums for people to post their artwork.

An even easier start to attracting more modellers would be just adding a category for graphics, rather than just graphics theory, which seems to be all about scripting cubes in OpenGL ranther than game models in 3DSMAX or Maya.
So yeah, just a few things to think about,

It is not an engine anyhow. This is a 3d art render.
This was a comment for the "realistic art with blender" snapshot, because of this i thought that any work in the snapshot had to be of either a working project, or a screenshot of a game.
My bad, I will start submitting some snaps then :D

This is exactly the same reason that most Flash games are not great. To put it frankly, most people's ideas suck, and most people with good ideas are not capable of bringing them to reality.
That said, blender is my modeler and animator, not my game engine.

I am a 3d modeller/animator, I am also a world builder, web designer/programmer (php), and I made the ever-popular (I wish) RPG system for my outdated plea for help thread.
So because of my lack of programming 'leetness' and couldn't 'whip up' a quick script to convert .3ds to .bsp.
So yeah, I would like more graphic designers to come to devmaster as I think it is an awesome community for (mainly) indie game development.
Now that that is doen, thanks.
