Hi everyone,

my current project, star fox meets child of eden. I'd like to hear opinions on the design, do you see potential problems? there are of course still some (lots of) open issues, but I guess the general gameplay style is becoming apparent.

early kinect functionality:

early gameplay:

planned features:

combat vs shipcontrol:
- combat: one handed control of the crosshair, indirectly steering the ship
- steering: use both hands to control the ship directly, only indirect control over weapons

speed zones: level segments that require direct shipcontrol (both hands)

cool boss battles of course

combat is stupid simple atm, enemy animation and choreography need some brains. steering-mode is still missing, some enemies will actually require active steering to survive their attacks. movement and combat as a whole need a lot of refinement of course, will probably speed the whole thing up considerably.

any thoughts? I'd be thankful for some feedback! thx
