I am looking for a "generic" Level-editor where i can build indoor levels. It should also support texture (uv) mapping and doen't have to be necessary bsp based.
I am a little bit lost among all the available solutions (blender, qeradiant, UDK, Unity, etc.). Once again, i am not looking for a game engine, just for something which i could use in my "game". Programming an own editor is my last option, but i don't want to reinvent the wheels.
Also, i am not a content/art specialist (just programmer) so i am looking for something not too complex (blender) and not too simple.

Any advice and suggestions welcome!

There used to be some of those, but not too much anymore since most engines have their own editors now. I can't even remember the names of a few I used to look at. Probably the best place to look is scene editors for Ogre, since it's one of the only ones that doesn't provide one anymore. Blender is complicated but probably the most versatile. By the time you learned it, you probably could have written a simple editor for your own purpose, depending what that is. If it's simple and you use a simple model format, it's probably better to just write one for your specific application.
Currently using Blender and Unity.
