Tabs are ignored when pasting code

When I try to paste a snippet of code in the reply textarea, all tabs are removed. I think I don't need to stress how inconvenient this is for posting readable code

Hmm ok it does appear to be working when disabling the markup editing features and manually enter code tags

Hmm yes. I typed in a tab in the code icon and got a javascript void(0) comment at the bottom of my screen and it didn't let me type in anything after that. I didn't try pasting in code with tabs.
Currently using Blender and Unity.
