Hello, im currently working on a metroidvania style game in xna 4.0 and would love some feedback! Posted Image

Controls:

KEYBOARD


jump: a
shoot
: space
movement
: arrows
special use (powerup)
: d
change weapon
: 1,2,3,4,5
pausescreen/map
: esc
navigate map
: numpad(5 to center)
load game
: F7


XBOX360 CONTROLLER


jump
: A
shoot
: X
movement
: left-stick/d-pad
special use (powerup)
: B
change weapon
: left/right shoulderbuttons
pausescreen/map
: start
navigate map
: right-stick(press to center)
load game
: back


7 powerups to collect (4 of them are weapons) + a couple of health-tanks
1 boss
charging up the fire weapon not yet implemented
this is a WIP so there might(probably) be bugs! Posted Image

Only fullscreen implemented in options menu

obs! only
use resultion 1280x720(default)

I would love some feedback on how it runs on other computers, its not really optimized codewise and ive only tried it on my own computer.

You may consider bundling your game together with the required XNA libraries, so that it runs straight out of the archive.
