Came across this engine today, looks nice and free to publish your games on PC but you have to pay to put your games on the iPad, iPhone, Android, Android Tablets, Windows Phone 7, Xbox 360, Linux, MacOS, and the Web.
Public beta starts September 30.

yes looks good, but what if you just want to make games from scratch? im definitely a party poop.
ah dont listen to me, its just im more into modelling applications, like the new zbrush release just coming out, thats what gets my tongue drooling.
you used to be able to fit a game on a disk, then you used to be able to fit a game on a cd, then you used to be able to fit a game on a dvd, now you can barely fit one on your harddrive.

This is NOT Open Source. Open Source != source code access.

Indeed, quite unusable due to license restrictions.

Actually, I am unsure as to what the actual license is, since the Licensing page does not mention it by name or make it available?

PS: The bottom part of your Licensing page does not inspire confidence. Don't sell me promises. And, you should drop your inline "smiley faces" from your text on the website.
Hyperbole is, like, the absolute best, most wonderful thing ever! However, you'd be an idiot to not think dogmatism is always bad.
