Ok this is driving me mad! I'm trying to get Anjuta working under Ubuntu linux, but whatever type of project I try to compile, I always get:

checking where the gettext function comes from... libc
configure: creating ./config.status
config.status: creating Makefile
config.status: error: cannot find input file: intl/Makefile.in

I've tried everything, including re-installing Ubuntu 10,000 times. Any help greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks

I don't want to sound obnoxious, but does that file even exist?

Don't worry, you're not obnoxious and no it doesn't. It is supposed to be created by some part of the autogen script. I found out that I had to install the CVS package - basically, autogen craps out when it can't find CVS (who knows why as I'm not using CVS) and it doesn't generate all the files necessary.

Thanks for replying.

Can you get a release? Autogen is only really meant for CVS checkouts, that stuff should be done for you when you download a release.
