If you don't know how to speed up application, go "roarrrrrr!", hit the compiler with the club and use -O3 :D

Why exactly the 256th day ?
maybe beause its the last power of two before the year ends ?

there should be the 1st ,2nd ,4th ,8th ,16th,32th,64th,128th
programmers days as well
