Description
I am very much interested in graphics. For around 4 years, I have been studying material from internet, especially DirectX. This summer, I began coding this demo. So the image you see now is the result. It shows reflective water implemented via Render-to-Texture and Projective Textures.

The water looks good, but your ground could use higher resolution textures.

I agree, the water does indeed look pretty good, although detail-texturing wouldn't be so bad either =)

In any case, do you have any working examples you wouldn't mind distributing?

do you have any plans to perhaps write a fragment program to distort the reflection in the water?

First thing I noticed was the window caption :). But that's pretty good, lots better than what I can do right now ;)!

damn, i thought that where jpeg compression artefacts.. but it looks like it's just not english :D

i guess it's "Project X".. or "Heightmap Renderer" or "Doom 4" :D

seriously, i really like the image. it's quite stylish, somehow just _because of the low res and lack of bumpmaps and all the fuzz. it looks clean, but not really unnatural. i like it..

it looks cool! *congrats*.

True, it almost feels like it was molded and not made with polygons at all.
