We’re representing a high profile games company in North Carolina that is looking for an experienced Networking Engineer to work on their core franchise games for both PC and consoles. Primary job responsibilities will be to create and elaborate on systems for multi-player including both single system (split screen) and broadband online. Excellent benefits package that includes relocation.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years experience in a network programming capacity
- Strong C/C++ skills
- 4+ years combined formal and/or informal education in Computer Science, Games Programming or another relevant subject matter
- Experience with client/server architecture
- Experience of Winsock, TCP/IP and associated networking elements
- Skills with Object-Orientated programming methods
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and techniques

PREFERRED:
- 1+ years games industry programming experience
- Experience with XBox live network system
- Experience consumer-hosted systems
- Degree in Computer Science, Games Programming or another relevant subject matter
- Minimum one published game title as a network/multiplayer programmer
- Worked on any titles that have achieved AAA status in the charts upon release

SENIOR TECHNICAL PROGRAMMER (PHYSICS) NEEDED ASAP

We’re representing a high profile company in Southern California that is looking for an experienced Senior Technical Programmer (Physics) to join their growing team.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The ideal candidate will have experience working in large cutting-edge engine technology systems and the ability to design, plan and program complex engine components, especially in the area of real-time physics simulation. The candidate must also exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, a high level of understanding towards game technology production and an adaptability to meet the needs of multiple projects utilizing common technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research into cutting-edge physical simulation techniques and API's.
- Working with Technology Programmers, Technical Directors, Development Directors, QA Testers and game project production staff.
- Development of technical design specification, implementation and test plans.
- Programming of core physics engine components to required coding standards.
- Testing, debugging and revision of new or legacy engine systems.
- Profiling, performance-analysis, performance tuning .
- Providing mentorship to less senior programmers.
- Contributing innovative and original ideas towards all aspects of game production and development.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in the design and implementation of cutting edge physics simulation techniques and API's.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering.
- 5+ years experience in advance C++/OOP architecture design and implementation.
- 3+ years experience in console programming.
- Experience in low-level console programming especially in the area of performance optimization.
- Experience and high level of understanding in the field of advanced 3D mathematics and physics.
- Demonstrated knowledge of good software engineering practices.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Self-motivated and passionate about video games.
- Team player.

SKILLS: C, C++, OOP, Visual C++ or .NET

PREFERRED SKILLS: CodeWarrior, PS2 VU, SIMD, Bachelor's degree or higher in Physics
