Hi to all guys i am not good in physics and trigonometric I tried to do a projectile system.My launch point is higher than target point.I know the velocity v, target_distance d, gravity g,Launch_height_y y0.I added a link that shows the equation.I tried my own but not solved the equation.Please some one help me.Thanks in advance
d = 30,v = 22 , g = 9.8 ,y0 = 2
I wants to find the theta(angle)

What two points do you want to find the angle between?
Re-dun-dant adj. 1. See redundant

Nerd: it's the launch angle for the projectile (see his previous thread).
rajesh: the equation for projectile travel is really very simple, if you're still banging your head against it then my recommendation is to go back and study some basic algebra.

Thank you Reedbeta & nerd for reply,
You suggested me this
http://hyperphysics....Hbase/traj.html
using that link i learned lot specially that angle of launch .That Projectile motion worked fine for me when the launch and target at same level.But in my case i need both launch at same level and launch at higher that the target level are required.My one problem is solved by your suggestion.I certainly found this equation from this link
http://en.wikipedia....e#Uneven_Ground
this equation gives me a confidence of make my projectile work properly.
Waiting for some help
