I was browsing Garage Gamers website and found this little blog post from Brett Seyler, where he talks about Torque 3D and UDK. In short words, he says that Torque is better than Unity and UDK.
You guys should read this: http://www.garagegam...blog/view/18741
I just can't believe that someone actually believes that Torque 3D has better rendering, terrain or networking, than Unreal Engine 3. That's the stupidest thing ever. Jesus, Torque 3D can't even run at decent speeds without disabling all the graphical features. If this is the guy behind the marketing strategies of Garage Games, i think they'll be heading downhill.
Most ridiculous thing i have ever read

Well, there are no engines in the market that are perfect and UE3 is not an exception.

I sure hope rouncer is around to PWN you hard, because that's the most useless post ever made around, not to mention it contains abusive and ignorant statements without any proofs.

Unreal3 is getting pretty dated. There's no question it's a sales pitch but I think it's accurate as far as it goes. I've always been impressed with Torques networking since I actually hosted a couple players in a real time 3d game with my telephone modem. What they're saying about the new free version is pretty accurate also, it's one step above a mod engine where you don't need the game anymore. It's hard to say how that will work out in practice because all the content from the game is available for a mod, and really, you have a guaranteed audience from the game players who are still playing.
Currently using Blender 2.5, FlashPunk, and Unity.

I can't really comment. However I am curious how you formed your opinion. Have you used both engines? Do you have any benchmarks?
