these three best stations out there IMO

monkey radio - downbeat ( excelent for coding )
dr-yo - avant garde, alternative, 70's punk
WFMU - a very cool radio station located in new jersey

any more recomendations ???

Radio 2. It has a great variety. Based in the UK, it's actually a normal radio station. Mostly a mixture of oldies and newer stuff. Nothing heavy.

http://www.live365.com/index.live used to be my favourite "radio stations" until it became commercial which makes it suck now. But i'm going to try the ones you listed. they seem nice enough.

You sure can't beat Radio 2. I still haven't decided whether Terry Wogan is funny, or not...

anubis: YOU LISTEN TO MONKEY RADIO?!? :D

in addition to monkey radio, i dig:

beat blender
groove salad

both are down tempo, ambience, jazzy, trip hop, ... just good!

both hosted on somaFM
Imagine.

Monkey Radio makes me want a faster internet connection. 128kb doesn't quite cut it, even on a 56kbps stream!
