I know lots of guys here make really good stuff, its why i post here.
Theres nothing n00b you could say to me that would teach me anymore, i just gotta go do my own work and get what i can off the floor.
My only advice is that you need to pack artists... without artists you cant have a game... and it makes good sense to learn some artistic skills yourself or youll be missing something.
thanks, 2d live on.

Your post just seems a bit dramatic, and your also started a thread recently that seemed quite erratic. Furthermore, even though I am many many times more knowledgeable about making games than when I first came to this forum and am currently making a game in my spare time, I still find some very interesting and deep threads here and I still post the occasional question here because sometimes Google doesn't have the answer.
Other than that, go make a game (and please share it with us)! It is very true that this forum is lacking the artistic side of game design. Not just the creation of art, but figuring out how to get art assets into game and figuring out how to make art make a game more enjoyable is a very large part of game development. John Carmak is, in my opinion, an excellent example of a brilliant game programmer who doesn't know a thing about the value of art in game design.
