say all i can do is this:
Posted Image
if i release a game like this maybe my mum would think i was clever, but we all know how harsh it is when you have to come up with decent presentation first when it comes to making a real hot game.

but maybe i should finish my game like this, even tho it may not look as good its just as fun!
you used to be able to fit a game on a disk, then you used to be able to fit a game on a cd, then you used to be able to fit a game on a dvd, now you can barely fit one on your harddrive.

Very subjective topic, but I would say it depends on the context those images are being used. You could get away with it using them as cutscene images with a narrator in the back. Or if you use them as avatar art, or if the game is web based that would be fine too.

Go for it ;)

It's not completely, one hundred percent ugly, and may, with some work, do as cutscene art, perhaps for some psychotic background story :)

Needs more polish, it's a little too chaotic and would make gaming difficult simply because all that chaos is a visual hurdle, but if Madworld got a following, why not you? :)

If you can't do A grade graphics then don't do them. Just look at Geometry Wars and Darwinia.

Good graphics has nothing to do with detail. Style is by far the most important thing.

And if you don't have style (but want to succeed) then I suggest you find someone that does.
