Hi,
I've got a USB TV card and am looking for player software (other that the one that came with it) or alternatively information on how to read the video stream from it
It sends the video stream MPEG compressed and seems to read it via some custom DirectShow plugin (?).
(it's a Hauppauge USB2 PVR 250, just in case).
I'd appreciate any pointer. I just can't seem to find the proper keywords for google, I'm lost somewhere between online shops and product test pages.
Video player software for my PC TV card

Yes, but it doesn't work (says: "No video capture pin found", some DirectShow filter graph mess, I think). Nor do other programs work which I found in the meantime.
Must be some special problem with the drivers, or it is the fact that it is USB2 and not PCI.
