I wanted to post a quick note to let you all know that I’ve just launched a new website called Jonny Audio. It’s a music and sfx resource for developers and while it is not a one-stop shop with thousands of tracks I hope you will find something interesting and useful for your projects. I also have a feature I’m trying out that I think many of you might appreciate.
There is a page on the site where you can request new music/sfx to be made. You give me as detailed a description as possible of what you’d like to be created and then I’ll give you an estimate on how long it will take. You’ll receive an email notification when the track is complete, but you are under no obligation to purchase the track if it isn’t quite what you wanted.
I’d suggest getting in requests early if you have a project coming up that you know you’ll be needing music for. I’m hoping this will be a way for developers to get some high-quality custom music for their projects even if they don’t have a big enough budget for an exclusive, original score.

Nice website, and your sound and music are very good.
Your license confuses me a bit, particularly the second clause:
It sounds like the license doesn't include permission to distribute audio with a finished game (freeware nor commercial). Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't that limit usage of all audio to usage only during development-phase, in-house testing, essentially meaning you're selling a license to use the audio only as a placeholder until finalized sound effects and music are purchased/developed? I'd hope I'm only misinterpreting the license.
Your license confuses me a bit, particularly the second clause:
Quote
# The music purchased may be used by the licensee only for the purpose of synchronization within their own audio and visual productions for a period of 99 years.
# The licensee may not copy, share, lend, duplicate or resell music purchased from Jonny Audio. Any attempt to do so will result in criminal prosecution.

Thanks for checking out the site. I appreciate the feedback too! The clause about copying, sharing etc. the music would only apply if you were repackaging / selling JUST the music itself. I might reword that or add an additional note because I see how that might be a little misleading.

Sounds good; I'll bookmark your site and I might purchase a few sound effects later for my current project if there's a specific sound effect I need and find myself unable to produce. :)
You have a good selection so far. Don't take this as a formal request, but here are a few ideas on what you may want to add next if you're looking to diversify your collection even more:
- jumping sound effects (as in a platformer game- this might fall under the "Beeps" category). In my last project, I tried hard but, for the life of me, couldn't record one that fit quite right myself.
- RPG battling sound effects: melee weapons (sword clashings, stab [you can do what they did for the movie Psycho and just stab a watermelon :P], crunch, punch, "ugghh", "oww"), magic castings (fire, lightning, water, earthquake, ice)

I added a new bullet point to the licensing page so it should be a little more clear now. I do plan on adding some more SFX and music geared more specifically towards games so I'll put your suggestions on the list :-)
