Hey. That was pretty rude to just close the topic and not even let anyone have a chance to reply to whoever closed it. I figured this site had some sort of professionalism, I guess not. Thanks for the ignorance. I've done many searches on the internet and DID a search on here. Just about every topic was old and had very little information as to what I was looking for.

There is about one vague "I have no experience and I want to make a MMOWTFBBQ" question per day here. They get closed pretty quickly.

Also, getting petty won't help your case.

You have to lay out more background, have some unique angle on the typical question and read the sticky in the "Programming & Development" forum. You probably didn't find anything because "MMORTS" isn't a frequently used term, but there's lots of MMO talk in these forums.

It has, and that's exactly why it is closed. If all the MMO topics stayed open, there wouldn't be any more professional discussions possible because 99.9999% of those topics are started by kids with no gamedevelopment experience whatsoever and want to make the next best MMO which is undoable at best. We prefer to keep the topiclisting clean and with actual useful topics.

If you think you do not fall in said category then you should show that in your topicstart. Be elaborate, tell what you have searched for and found so far and why what you have found (if any) doesn't fit your needs. Also, statements like "I did not have time to read everything before hand." do not really help either. It just shows that you are not willing to spend time in reading up on the subject. If so, then why should we be willing to spend time to answer your questions?

The fact that you are opening another topic to bash the forum members and/or moderators actually show that you are the one that lacks professionalism.

You can make it, when youve gone the hard effort of learning how to code, like I always say, read a tut on the net and you can do it first time.

If you think youll be good enough at the start to finish more than a beginners 3d art castle id be suprised.
