First, I would like to say the game is AMAZING, and BREATHTAKING. I finished the game in 81 hours :nervous:. I know it took me a while but that's maybe because I tried to expolre everything. The Boss was REALLY hard to kill. Anyways, I would like to share some amazing screenshots, they show how great the graphics is in doom 3.

I was playing, but I got bored. Just couldn't seem to concentrate on it enough. It does scale fairly well even on a lower end system, however, technically very impressive, and incredibly pretty.

sometimes during the game i longed for slow motion. you just have so little time admiring the animation and graphics because you usually fight for your life :)
If Prolog is the answer, what is the question ?

heh, i remember that situation in quite some games.. where i sat beside while a friend played and just thought "wow, that looks awesome!" but never realised during gameplay actually .. :D too much stress.

I normally have an undying desire to finish games no matter what, even if just for the sake of finishing them. Doom 3 was very pretty, but I just could not finish it. The game was more repetative than the origional Dooms, and that is saying a lot.

I am glad I got to see some of the special effects, but special effects do not make a game. It felt like Unreal2 in that sense. I actually did finish Unreal2, but I am not sure why, the game was not any better than this one.

I have really enjoyed 2 games in the last 3 years: Rune and Halo. The first one has pretty good story, interesting gameplay and dynamic gameplay, while the other is non-stop action - just what i need! The biggest problem with Halo is however that the game is EXTREMELY short. You can turn it in 8 hours!

I know I’m close to finishing Doom 3, but I decided to lay her down to rest. I wouldn’t mind finishing it, but at the same time I’m more in desire with multiplayer. Even online that game scares the crap outta me. If either me or the dozen other mods that started a “demons vs marines” complete, it’s going to be one hell of an online experience. I was a fan of Natural Selection, but this engine takes the cake, icing, plate, table, kitchen... k, you get the point =)

Yeah the graphics was amazing, but like you lot i missed most of it. I played the game intensly untill i finished it. I thought the bosses were disappointing. The hell section was cool, but it soon went back to boring bases. The graphics and atmosphere made it worth playing for me, but the gameplay was dull.

Hopefully the modders will come to the rescue (TheNut, demons vs marines sounds v.cool)
