Yes, not a joke, I'm totally in love with that shell. It's perfect for scripts, it's sooooo easy to work with, it's intuitive and there almost always is a way to do what you want to. That's probably true for the rest of the UNIX shells also, but BASH was the one I found first and it makes me immortal!
