Has anyone here been following up on this? It's pretty cool to see what the mod and indie community have been doing. I'm very impressed at the talent that's out there, especially when you look over the years and see how the same number of people are producing better and better content. I remember the good old days with TF for Quake, QPong and Jail Break for Quake II. Nothing revolutionary in terms of graphics, but very fun. Now when you take a look at mods like Project Reality and Delta Sector, it's quite the evolution!

The indie and mods slated for release this year or early next are even more impressive, both visually and technologically. Soon everyone and their dog will be making games like you make morning toast ;)
