Hey everybody. I hope this is the right place for my post..

I am looking for a company who could do a custom programming job for us involving Quest3d.

We are running a carwash business in Germany. For better customer support we had a simulation program written for us in Quest3d. I have all the different project files which can be compiled into the final executable. Since we want to sell this program to some colleagues who also own a carwash we are thinking about different ways to protect our software from copyright violations.

We want to sell licenses which can be run on one PC only. Please feel free to suggest any other ways how this could be done.

Here is our idea: The customer would register his PC with us by means of any unique identifiable PC parameter. (I was thinking of the MAC address for instance. Please tell me if you think this solution would not be a good one). The customer should send us the parameters after which we would like to create an executable which would only run on this single computer.

We are now looking for somebody who could modify the source files of our program so that every time we want to sell a license we could put in the hardware parameters of the PC before compiling the file so that it would only run on the specific PC. We would also need protection against decompiling.

If you are able to provide this service to us, would you please be so kind as to send me an offer on how much this would cost. If you do not think you could do this for us, would you kindly tell me somebody who could, if you can think of anybody.
