If there's anything universally true about "I want to make an MMO" posters, it's that they don't read. If we create a special forum for them, they probably won't post in it, because they won't be paying enough attention to notice it.
That's so true, because when I started in all this, I "wanted" to pop the question and ask about some hardcore MMO, idea but then I just read, and read, and read alot. and then I never even had to ask one question except if I was doing the right thing as a beginner in the "beginning" process. And I learned soooooo much, just because I read the forums rather than asking so many questions. I will admit though most of what I learned, that at least lead to helping me learn was from the dumb mmo questions that people asked and made other devs mad in the first place. I just read there thread about about how they can't do this and can do that because they don't know anything about programming, and then every now and again some lone ranger dev would post a good link for starting out on there thread and I would just head that way. Saved the ass chewing for someone else.
